I loved this. Excellent.

I was talking to someone the other day about how the 90’s are really starting to seem a distinct era from the 00’s, and I illustrated this with the following example.

I made up an imaginary MFA or MA thesis title that could only exist in the 90’s: “Papa Don’t Preach – Signs and Signifiers in Madonna’s Early Stage Music Videos: 1983-1989″ or “A Touch of Pink – A Post-Modernist and Post-Structuralist Reading of Contemporary Feminist Erotica”.

I think “Imaginary MA Thesis” might make a fun, if pretentious, party game.
