If you’re in New York you should go see Pipilotti Rist’s video installation at the MOMA. If you’re in Mexico you should put down the computer and go to the beach!

This Recording is pure shit. Thank you for that link to shit.
(sighs, throws up hands)
Thank you for elevating my cultural awareness. I was unfamiliar with Rist. I’m going to see if I can get there to see this exhibit.

“‘Victim’ is more than just hilarious Swiss whimsy, though, I eventually realized. Unlike Isaak, Rist telegraphs actual meaning with every line. The deliberateness of her pronunciation means you have to actually think about the lyrics.”
Then I looked up the definition for “telegraph” at dictionary.com:
“Informal. to divulge or indicate unwittingly (one’s intention, next offensive move, etc.), as to an opponent or to an audience; broadcast: The fighter telegraphed his punch and his opponent was able to parry it. If you act nervous too early in the scene, you’ll telegraph the character’s guilt.”
